- Return Deadlines for Textbooks
- The LAST DAY for University of Central Florida Fall 2010 textbook & course material returns is Friday August 27, 2010.
- Books purchased for the summer term are not returnable.
- Return Policies
- Please verify you have the correct course materials prior to opening any sealed packages, and that any materials needing to be returned or exchanged and brought back by the return deadlines above. It is the students' responsibility to confirm that the course materials are correct prior to the deadlines.
- Course materials are defined as textbooks, study guides, CD's and DVD's, access codes, and other course materials required by your professors. Please note that wrapped textbooks, wrapped textbook packages or bundles, and other sealed course materials must be returned in the original packaging and be unopened for a full refund. CD's, software and access codes may not be refunded once opened.
- A VALID RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
- Course materials not returned by the deadlines above may be refused or assessed a restocking fee of up to 25% or the difference between a new and used book price.
- Clothing, apparel, gear and other general merchandise must be returned within 60 days of purchase. Sale items are non-returnable.
- Trade and reference books are non-returnable.
- Rental returns are held to the same policies as purchases. Additional rental terms and conditions will be listed on the rental agreement for any book rental transaction.
- All refunds are issued in the original form of payment. Please note that credit card and debit card returns are processed same day by us, but may take up to 30 days to be processed by the credit card or debit card providers. Contact your financial institution for details on credits posted to your account.
- Returns on items purchased on deferment will first be credited to the deferment account unless the account is already paid off.
Return Instructions For Online Purchases
Items purchased online are subject to the same returns policy as in store purchases (above). If you ordered your textbooks during the first week of classes but did not receive them until after the first week of classes, you may return them or ship them to the store within 24 hours of delivery. All items must be returned in the original condition. No shipping charges will be refunded unless the return is due to our error.
Your packing list and your receipt (available on the order history page) must be included with each return to ensure prompt credit. Returns missing this information can not be credited. If the return is due to our error all shipping charges will be refunded to the original credit card or account used for payment.
Include the packing slip and receipt with your return. Repackage your item(s) in the original packaging or in an appropriate cardboard box. Using packing material (e.g. styrofoam peanuts, bubble wrap, etc) around your item(s), pack and tape your package securely. Select a carrier that offers you the option to insure and track your package. UPS, FedEx, and USPS all offer this option. Insuring and tracking your package protects you as the shipper and helps ensure your shipment goes to the correct destination in the same condition it was as when you sent it. Write down your tracking number and keep it until College Book and Supplyhas refunded your money. Ship your return to the following address:
